  • May 08 - May 15: Selection of questions from Questionnaire
  • May 16 - May 22: Nomination period
    Nomination period for FESCo elections has been prolonged till May 31st @ 23:59:59 UTC. See FESCo ticket #1895) for more details.
  • May 23 - May 29: Interviews
    Interviews period for FESCo elections ends on June 5th @ 23:59:59 UTC
  • May 30 - May 30: Voting Setup & Validation & Publishing of interviews
    Voting Setup & Validation & Publishing of interviews for FESCo ends on June 6th @ 23:59:59 UTC
  • May 31 - Jun 06: Voting period
    Voting period for FESCo ends on June 13th @ 23:59:59 UTC
  • Jun 07: Result Announcement
    Result announcement for FESCo is on June 14th

Selection of questions from Questionnaire

From the set of collected questions for nominees to FESCo (Engineering), Fedora Council and Mindshare teams, top 3 questions are going to be selected, based on Council decision, where these selected questions will be given to each candidate to answer before voting period begins as part of campaign.

Nominations for Elected Positions

During this period you may self-nominate to open seats. If you wish to nominate someone else, please consult with that person ahead of time. Wiki nomination pages carry additional details about the nominee which the nominee is expected to write.

Interviews

Nominees are requested to answer selected questions using private issue in Pagure. In this way only Election Wrangler and Fedora Action and Impact Coordinator (as election wrangler substitute) are allowed to see these answers.

Voting Setup & Validation & Publishing of interviews

It is responsibility of Election wrangler to validate eligibility of nominees for elections. In compliance with Fedora Council decision #135 nominees not having completed their interviews (as a private issue in Pagure) are excluded from the list of nominees.

Election wrangler is responsible for publishing these interviews on Fedora Community Blog as well as setup of voting machine for the elections.

If you are familiar with the voting process, you may go straight to the voting site to cast your votes.

Eligible Voters

Voting eligibility is determined by a community member's Fedora Account System (FAS) memberships.

Council

To vote for the Council you must have cla_done in FAS.

FESCo (Engineering)

To vote for FESCo you must have cla_done + one other "non-cla" group in FAS.

Mindshare

To vote for Mindshare you must have cla_done group in FAS.
