I've been a Linux user since I bought my first 'Redhat Unleashed' book back around Version 5 or so. That volume included the 'plublisher's version' of Redhat. When the community version was transitioned to Fedora, it was a natural progression and I've used every release to current.
I am very much a user - not a coder. I was drawn into the world of Linux through Amateur Radio and the Xastir project for APRS. I have compiled Xastir and other projects for my own use - but have yet to really contribute anything back other than documentation.
At home, I host several domains - websites and email. That's kept me fairly busy.
I work in the IT department of a large healthcare provider - hospital. Most of my systems run Microsoft OSes, but I do have one Redhat server. It's my place of refuge.
