About me
I am a second year undergraduate at Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I am computer geek who loves to learn new technologies and Human Computer Interaction and UX/UI related aspects. The goal in my life is to become a UX/UI Engineer and contribute towards research and development in those aspects.
I am a hard working individual who tries to complete the tasks assigned to me to the best of my ability. And I am perfectionist who tries to make every bit of work perfect. The passion towards designing stuff made me interested in wanting to have a career in UX/UI and HCI.

Work Experience and Projects
• Online Cab Reservation Service | December 2014- Present | University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka
This is a software project done under the CS3042-Database Systems. This is project developed with a group of 5 students and the purpose of this project is to enable customers to book vehicles which are already registered in the cab service through and online portal. This also has a rating system to rate the drivers with respect to their service provided for the customers. The overall goal of this project is to provide a better, reliable and efficient reservation service for the customers.
• Blood Bank Management System | June 2014 – November 2014 | University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka
This is a software project which is done under the module CS2062-Object Oriented Software Development in University of Moratuwa for the Karapitiya Blood Bank in order to manage their blood stocks, to generate useful reports and for HR management. This is a group project done with a group of 5 students. I mainly worked on the areas of blood stock and item management, the development of user interfaces and on the documentation.
• Particle Motion Simulator | 2013 – Present | University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka
A project that uses concepts of event driven simulation. The project is coded in Java and this simulates the behavior of N moving particles that behave according to the laws of elastic collision.
• Line Following, Ball Grabbing Robot | April2014 - May 2014 | University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka
A line following and tennis ball grabbing Arduino robot that was developed with a group of five students at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa.
• Simple Microprocessor | May 2014 | University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka
A simple microprocessor that was developed using ISE design suit. It could decode a simple set of instructions and was developed with a group of three students under the CSE Computer Architecture module.
• Basic Experience On Image Convolutions | 2013 | University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka
The project is about Image convolutions done using different kernels. This is done using Matlab.
• Student Management System | 2012 | University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka
A software project done by using Java, MySQL and Jasper reports. The software was created to facilitate student registration and finance in Kingston International School, Galle, Sri Lanka. It generated a lot of useful reports and included data validation.
