Description

This test case ensures that Fedora CoreOS autologin functionality works as expected as part of our tutorials, allowing a user to log in automatically without requiring a password.

Setup

  • Install the Fedora CoreOS on a bare metal or virtual machine using the default settings.

How to test

  • Follow the steps given here
  • Boot the Fedora CoreOS system.
  • Observe the boot process and verify that the user core is automatically logged in without requiring a password.

Expected Results

  • The Ignition configuration file is modified successfully.
  • The modified Ignition configuration file is applied to the Fedora CoreOS system without errors.
