I've been using Linux for the better part of the past decade, i have used almost every flavour of *nix system that was released in the past decade. I have been an administrator for the past 5 years or so ever since my high school in sufficiently complex environments using *nix based system. Personally I have always preffered Fedora/Red Hat releases. Recently ever since I've joined University, I've helped in establishing a LUG for my university , where I routinely take sessions introducing students to various aspects of Linux and that its not just a replacement for windows where one needs oodles of knowledge to get their work done, rather its a much stabler and easier and cheaper alternative to windows and everything that can be done on windows can be done here at par, if not better. I take it as a one person at a time job.

Activities within Fedora

• Immediate goal is to organise an install fest in the university where we urge students to try it out for themselves on demo computers and if they like what they see then install it and take it with them.
• Interested in helping with localization of Fedora in Hindi.
• Working on a detailed guide for first time useres to help them with eveything including installing propriety drivers and configuring and installing software, compiling software from source
