This is the formal draft for the Fedora Contributor Survey, please, feel free to edit/remove/add those questions you feel need a tweak.

IMPORTANT POINTS:

  • All questions will be optional
  • If possible, we will arrange only for people with FAS accounts to access the survey, however the data should remain completely anonymous.
  • You can only fill the survey once.

Contributor Survey

Below are some possible questions for the survey that draw on the questions proposed earlier, and on questions that appeared in FLOSS 2013 Survey, Apache Software Foundation Committer Diversity Survey, and Red Hat Associate Survey. When a question is similar to a question in another survey, it is noted and the answer options used are kept as similar as possible as well, so that we can compare the results. Not all these questions should be used in the survey, as it should ideally be shorter, and the team should further discuss which questions to use at the FAD.

We should have a reminder for people to not put any identifying information about themselves or others in the text box fields.
