From Fedora Project Wiki
A python 3 stack was added to Fedora in Fedora 13, parallel-installable with the "main" Python 2 stack, and it is gradually growing additional RPMs, as more code is ported to Python 3.
Note that /usr/bin/python is still Python 2.
