This test case is obsolete: runs of QA:Testcase_Boot_default_install for the KDE live media now replace it, there will be no non-live image capable of installing KDE, it appears.
Associated release criterion
This test case is associated with the Basic_Release_Criteria#package-sets release criterion. If you are doing release validation testing, a failure of this test case may be a breach of that release criterion. If so, please file a bug and nominate it as blocking the appropriate milestone, using the blocker bug nomination page.

This is to verify that Anaconda can successfully install the KDE desktop package set.

How to test

  1. Boot the installer using any available non-live means (anything except Live.iso)
  2. Set KDE as your desired package set in software selection dialog
  3. Proceed with installation

Expected Results

  1. The new system boots into the KDE desktop environment
