Description
This test case test the powertop 2.x tunables feature.
Setup
- Check that you have
powertop$ rpm -q powertop
- If not install it:
# yum install powertop
How to test
- Run PowerTOP:
# powertop
- Change to "Tunables" tab by arrow keys.
- Try to toggle various tunables.
- Check if your tunings persists PowerTOP restarts.
Currently it doesn't persists through reboots, but it is known issue that was addressed as RFE.
Expected Results
- No errors while changing tunables.
- Tunings persists PowerTOP restarts.
- No unexpected / confusing behaviour.
