Description

This test case test the powertop 2.x tunables feature.

Setup

  1. Check that you have Package-x-generic-16.pngpowertop installed:
    $ rpm -q powertop
    • If not install it:
    # yum install powertop

How to test

  1. Run PowerTOP:
    # powertop
  2. Change to "Tunables" tab by arrow keys.
  3. Try to toggle various tunables.
  4. Check if your tunings persists PowerTOP restarts.

Currently it doesn't persists through reboots, but it is known issue that was addressed as RFE.

Expected Results

  1. No errors while changing tunables.
  2. Tunings persists PowerTOP restarts.
  3. No unexpected / confusing behaviour.
