Description

This test case describes making music available in the local network

How to test

  1. Open Rhythmbox, verify that there is some music available in its library.
  2. Now open the plugins dialog (Edit ➛ Plugins), and make sure that the 'DLNA/UPNP sharing and control support' plugin is enabled.
  3. Now open Rhythmbox on another computer in the same local network.
  4. Verify that the first computers shared music shows up in the left pane, and listening to music from there works.

Expected Results

What is reasonable?
Note that we ask for you to judge whether the system behaviour is 'reasonable' or not, without prescribing the exact outcome. If some aspect of the system behaviour is surprising or confusing to you, it is probably worth pointing out.
  • Expected results:
    1. The shared music shows up on the second computer as soon as sharing is enabled on the first computer.
    2. Listening to shared music works with acceptable sound quality.
