Description

This test-case is to check that input works correctly for your ibus input-method.


How to test

  1. Select System -> Preferences -> Input Method.
    1. Check Enable input method feature, then click Input Method Preferences.
    2. Open Input Method column in the Ibus Preferences window, Then Select Input Method to choose a language.
    3. Click add button and Close.
  2. Open a test editor, left click Ibus input method framework icon in the panel to select the input method. some texts to test the input-method such as the following:
    1. Switch it on/off (the default keyboard shortcuts for enable/disable is: Ctrl+Space.) or focus out/in (move the mouse off the editor and back to check the bar).
    2. Make some changes in the bar and see if it works.
    3. Add/Delete input method in preferences and verify it.

Expected Results

  1. Input should be displayed as expected.
  2. Any change should take effect.
