On issue I can't seem to fix for my AO722 is the touch pad sensitivity to right clicks and dragging. I enjoy the tap to click sometimes when I moved over a tab for example, it'll select it and drag. I can't seem to find a way to disable the drag feature with sacrificing tap to click. Other similar issue is right click, tap two fingers, seems too sensitive. When I try to scroll with two fingers it'll register as a right click and have undesired results.

Could this be added to some tricks....

sysctl -w vm.laptop_mode=1

Or is it irrelevant on the AA1-110l with ssd? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cantonsen (talkcontribs)

moving notes on performance to a common place

Seeing as the notes on performance apply to most netbooks, how about moving them to a separate page, say Netbooks and linking from here? --Rathann 21:58, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

reply

I think that may be a very good idea. --Cantonsen 23:51, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

I concur that it would be a sound idea --macrowizard

Interesting information from "The road to Elysium"

There is a lot of information on http://jorge.fbarr.net/2008/11/10/fedora-10-on-the-acer-aspire-one/.

Some of it could well be integrated into this page.

Pulseaudio

A nice configuration for enhancing pulseaudio.

http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=225660

Try it using resample-method=trivial in pulse daemon.conf

Scripts

(I have noticed the Acerfand has been removed from the guide and wondered if it is still usable) However, Another useful thing is as we all know is scripts and i have one here if anyone is interested or finds it useful? http://www.macrowizards.co.uk/index.php/fedora or http://www.macrowizards.co.uk/uploads/Ace

the first link has a description about the scripts --macrowizard
