Also, "Domains bought within 24 business hours, usually much faster."  We can usually initiate a transfer very quickly, but depending on the jurisdiction and Iron Mountain's response time, I can't always guarantee 24 hours...especially since the possibility exists that not all names will be immediately available.  Are we assuming that all domain names are going to be cleared as "not taken" before they get to me?  I guess we could just change it to something regarding "Domain transfers/acquisitions initiated quickly and maintained by Iron Mountain"...something like that. --[[User:jsulliva|Jake Sullivan]]

  • it's worth noting that Red Hat owns the Fedora trademark worldwide, so it applies to all domains, regardless of which registrar or country the domain comes from.
  • Pre-purchased Benefit: Red Hat will automatically renew the domain for as long as necessary. (Self-purchased Drawback: you must remember to renew self-purchased domains before their expiration.)

I would remove the information regarding the following: "No need for community to pay for this domain -- Red Hat will underwrite the cost." We should probably word this to allow that Red Hat will underwrite the maintenance and costs of registration notwithstanding excessive fees and/or potentially high purchase prices from parked domains.

--Jake Sullivan
