Been using Linux for about six years, Fedora for the last three of those. Studied Astronomy in university and found packages like IRAF and Midas an absolute pain to install from source.

Have working rpm packages for Midas version 09SEPpl1.2, 10FEBpl1.0 is due out soon and will be packaged upon release. Also working on packaging PyMidas.

This is my first time packaging so I will need sponsor and hosting space. Any help very much appreciated.
