Open source video tutorials for the community. By the community.

The Fedora Community is launching an initiative to gather and organize videos, screencasts, and tech talks that can teach new and expert users about Fedora and the open source applications it runs.

The Community is looking for tutorials in a wide range of categories, from learning how to install Fedora and applications, navigating and customizing desktops, using open source applications, and developing Fedora packages.

There are hundreds of things we want to learn. Check out Fedora Videos for further information and current video categories.

Here are just a few ideas for tutorials:

  • Have you crafted the perfect workflow for creating icons in inkscape?
  • Are you an expert at editing the Fedora wiki and have tips for new contributors?
  • Do you want to show other users how you customized the KDE desktop?

Once you have a tutorial idea, record the video and submit it to Fedora Videos following the guidelines here.

Help people discover Fedora and join its community. Teach them how to use open source applications and increase their productivity. Show them how to unleash their creativity using the Fedora platform.
