I started dabbling with desktop Linux in 2006, using Fedora Core 4 and Ubuntu 6.06, though it's only more recently that I've used it exclusively, and started looking for ways to contribute back to the community.

My most significant effort so far, I suppose, has been Create Background Slideshow, a graphic interface for making XML wallpapers (like /usr/share/backgrounds/cosmos) for the GNOME desktop background, but I hope to do much more as time goes by.
