From Fedora Project Wiki

Mohan Prakash

I am from Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. I have a Masters Degree in Mathematics and am on the verge of completing a Masters Degree in Computer Applications. Primarily a student of Mathematics, my interest in computer science was inspired by the philosophy of open source software. I am greatly inspired by the works and lives of all those who have contributed for empowering people with open source software and so decided to study and work in this field.

Primary Activities

I run an institution Mathematics and Computer Science to high school and under graduate students. There are many student aid centers managed by me and my organisation in which poor and needy students are provided educational support free or with nominal charges. Besides I also work to provide livelihood opportunities to students belonging to financially weaker sections so that they may support their families and their own academic activities.
