I started my career in Free Software with a malware program that contained an option off protection in a specific program: FireFox 1.0, Yes, I used that version ...
From there I began to know the free software in general. My first linux distribution installed (failed) if i have not bad memory was a SuSE 9.3, followed by a Mandriva LE 2005 which was also installed failed. (I say failed because i could not get lift X and as a beginner user, a terminal scared me). Finally I instaled Ubuntu that was my first linux "usable" .
Followed by this, I try to go back to SuSE, and I did not like at all and install Fedora 7, excellent distribution and I continue with Fedora 8 in my Desktop and Debian in my Laptop. When I make recommendations to start with Linux, I try to install them the excellent distribution of Fedora.

Josue Guillermo Araujo Mayorga <NeMuX>

Activities within Fedora

I started using something different to all my colleagues and friends, not for be different from them, simply because I liked what I use and could do with it. Now attempt to disseminate these ideas and work with everyone I can.

To make this activity as:

  • Install Fest
  • Technical Talk
  • Days of advice and support
  • Free courses in my university

Actually in my school, i'm giving a free course about Using Linux, and my friends and classmates are using Fedora in the study lab.
