== About me ==
I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at SSN, Chennai. My passions are cricket, music, open source and literature(not in any order). My first flirt with open source was when I used Firefox long back. My introduction to Linux was when I entered college, and it was nothing short of baptism by fire. My first distro was openSUSE 10, and since then I've used many other distros. My favorite and permanently installed one is Fedora 12, although I wander in distroland quite often thanks to virtual machines. I find it irritating when people say "I can't do that on Linux" and I make it a point to prove them wrong. I love helping out friends and neighbours adopt Linux, and I'm a self confessed distro dinosaur.

== Fedora Media Requests ==
If you want to get a Fedora DVD, then I suggest you do the following:
* You are welcome to get a copy from my home :-) Confirm my presence before you come, though.
* Find a local contact or Fedora ambassador closest to you at https://fedoraproject.org/membership-map/ . In case you are in Thamizh Naadu, I might be closest to you.
* If you are a college student, your college might have a free software repository. don't hesitate to ask them and get a DVD burnt if they do have a repository.
* Get a CD cover from the nearest post office, and send the self addressed, stamped / paid envelope to my address. You can find it above.
* Be sure that the CD/DVD is enclosed in a firm plastic case (rounded, coloured ones are the best, they can resist bending too!) before mailing it inside the postal department cover.
* I'll mail you the Fedora 11 32 bit DVD in a week or so, since there's a lot more work to be done. The time varies from 3 to 7 days.
* You can share the disc, make copies and give it to friends and neighbours.
* And finally, the most important point: Use quality media for burning Fedora. A single disc can be used by many people, and I suggest you do that to avoid using too much plastic and save our planet.
