Release Day Planning

Mission

We want the release day to be more or less a flick of the switch for every subproject.

Objectives

• Every subproject has a timeline for what needs to be done for release. Some of this may exist in JohnPoelstra's release timelines .
• Every subproject has people assigned for their relevant tasks.
• Any dependencies between subprojects are clearly tasked.

Meeting

We held an initial conference call on 19th March 2008 at 17:00 UTC / 1:00pm EDT / 10:00pm PDT. We used this meeting matrix to agree on a time.

We followed that with a second call on 20th March 2008 at 16:00 UTC / 12:00pm EDT / 9:00am PDT. Unfortunately, not everyone got the word so it was a little more sparsely attended.

Nevertheless, people liked the idea and good things came of it.
