Hello Matthew, had to say hi.

I graduated from NJIT (then it was called NCE) in 1968 as a ChemE. Back then we were very fortunate to have two computers at the college, an IBM 1620 and a 1620 Mod II. At the time most colleges didn't have any. The students couldn't touch the Mod II, but the old one had a very slow console typewriter. If we had more than a couple of lines of output we would punch the results onto cards and interpret the cards on an IBM 401 accounting machine! We used a language called NCE Load and Go which was kind of a FORTRAN for Dummies. K&R was still ten years into the future. Those were the days. -- Jjmcd
