It's been a year ago since I contribute to Fedora. But I think I started to engage with Fedora People when I found some bugs in docs.fp.o and fix it on pagure, you know, like correcting some strings, etc. So simple, right? which brings me to this point.

I started to create a package back then. It was a bash script that I make myself. So I'm asking Fedora Join, I kinda new back then. I was helped by [[User:Ankursinha| Ankur Sinha]], he's my sponsor and my mentor, to learn more about packaging, although the package ends up only at [https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/ Fedora Copr] but I am still really glad for his help. Thus I started my journey to learn more about FLOSS since then.

Although it already one year from that point, I'm a new packager now. I don't know what's favourite things with my mentor, But I'd say the experience of working with him through IRC network is good so far. So that's all folks.

Introduction

My name is Didik, my pronouns are he/him, I'm from Agam, Sumatera Barat, Indonesia, I am a Man, and I speak Indonesian and English. I'm Fedora.

It's been a year since I contribute to Fedora. But I think I started to engage with Fedora People when I found some bugs in docs.fp.o and fix it on pagure, you know, like correcting some strings, broken URL, etc. So simple, right? which brings me to this point.

I started to create a package back then. It was a bash script that I create by myself. I was asking in Fedora Join since I kinda new back then. So I was helped by Ankur Sinha, he's my sponsor and my mentor, to learn more about packaging, although the package ends up only at Fedora Copr but I am still really glad for his help. Thus I started my journey to learn more about FLOSS since then.

Although it already one year from that point, I'm a new packager now. I don't know what's favourite things with my mentor, But I'd say the experience of working with him through IRC network is good so far. So that's all folks.
