Associated release criterion
This test case is associated with the Fedora_40_Final_Release_Criteria#default-panel-functionality release criterion. If you are doing release validation testing, a failure of this test case may be a breach of that release criterion. Description

This test case tests whether all elements in a given Fedora configuration's default panel layout function as intended.

How to test

  1. Install and then clean boot the Fedora you wish to test: this could be a particular snapshot, pre-release, or release. Use all default choices during installation, and where free input is required, input simple generic information
  2. Attempt typical operations on each item on the default panel configuration in turn: try to use all typical functionality of each panel element

Expected Results

  1. No crashes should occur in any item of the default panel configuration upon typical interaction
  2. All elements of the default panel configuration should work as intended in typical interaction
