From Fedora Project Wiki

My Name is W. David Ashley.

I know and use Fedora on a daily basis.

I work for IBM for my day job but in my spare time I am the project leader for the Open Object Rexx project (http://www.oorexx.org/) which is a package available in the Fedora repository. ooRexx is a really great scripting language that has numerous advantages over traditional scripting languages like Perl and PHP. You should check it out if productivity is a major factor in your work.

I am a good C/C++ and ooRexx programmer. I have over 25 years of IT experience as both a contributor and team lead and have worked on a diverse number of systems like MVS, OS/2, Linux, AIX, etc.

I know languages such as C, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Java, and many more. I have extensive experience with many Fedora libraries including GTK+, ncurses, libvirt, etc. and the virtualization and KVM environments. I like to develop programs for the Fedora Gnome desktop as well as command line cron/batch programs. I also like to develop CGI based web sites.

I prefer to be contacted by email: david.ashley.ibm@gmail.com

Thank You.
