From Fedora Project Wiki

Juan Pablo

Hi everyone! I'm a software engineering student, from Argentina. I use (and kind of love) fedora for about three years.

I am also a student member of the IEEE. Right now we are working in a free software project. It basically consists in teaching the community that there are licences in software and that exist also a free choice, and teach them how to use it. For example show them that they can use OpenOffice instead of MS Office, and we teach them how to use it, and so. Also we show them GNU/Linux and if the person wants to use it, we install it in his/her computer. Of course, we do it for free(dom).

Anyways... I'm pretty excited about the fedora world, and I want to help make fedora (if possible) even better! :)

And, last but not least, I'm involved in the organization of conferences about free software in my region.

Activities within Fedora

At this moment I'm waiting for my approval for the Ambassadors group.

And when I feel prepared, I would like to join the developers team. But it will take some time.

Oh, and I love wearing hats (specially red ones) :P
