How to test

Be as specific as required for the target audience.

  • Type the following command: nmcli
  • Verify that the output shows the available network connections and their status.
  • Type the following command: nmcli device wifi list
  • Verify that the output shows a list of available wireless networks.
  • Type the following command: nmcli device connect <SSID> password <password>
  • Replace <SSID> with the name of a wireless network from the previous command's output, and replace <password> with the password for the network.
  • Verify that the output shows that the device is now connected to the specified wireless network.

  • The nmcli device wifi list command displays a list of available wireless networks without errors.
  • The nmcli device connect command successfully connects to the specified wireless network without errors.
