My day job is as a software technical consultant in Ocoee, FL. I work for Transaction Data Systems Inc. The flagship product of TDS is RX30, a Linux software product for independent pharmacies. RX30 provides Prescription Filling, Nursing Home, Consulting, Accounts Receivable, Workflow Management, Signature Capture, IV processing, Compounding, Integrated POS Solutions and an abundance of value-added vendor interfaces to provide a turnkey dispensing solution. TDS created a custom Fedora build that keeps the RX30 system at peak performance.
My role with RX30 is in a support capacity for the RX30 product and Linux OS support to the pharmacists who use the product. TDS provides both the hardware and the software for the Linux-based pharmacy solution as well as POS and E-scribing modules. There are Windows users who are RX30 customers but they are in the small minority of RX30 customers. I am a Fedora 12 user and enjoy some programming and home networking to other systems which include a Macintosh computer.
