Fedora Design Suite

Summary

The Fedora Design Suite is a set of tools including well-selected applications from Design Team fitting a variety of use cases whether deciding to work on publishing documents, creating images, pictures, websites, basic animation and video editing or even 3D contents.

What's new for Release 37?

  • Update to Gnome 3.43 featuring switch between Dark and Light mode and redesigned system menu located on top right of desktop.
  • Blender 3.3.1 - first stable of 3.x series, this release support Fedora version of FFMPEG libraries by default.
  • Gimp 2.10.32
  • Darktable 4.0.1 - major user interface rewrite and boosted performance.
  • Inkscape 1.2.1 - Major feature is ability to create and edit multiple pages, a first for this series.
  • Krita 5.1.0 with support of new JPEG-XL format.
  • Scribus 1.5.8 with UI Improvements for dark mode and some icon updates and window interactivity.
  • Pitivi 2022.06.0 contains several bugfixes and improvements.
  • Hugin 2021.0.0 with new overview mode.
  • Synfig 1.5.1 with major improvement of layout
  • Xournal 1.1.1 with new icon and bug fixes.
